Pet Peeves

You know what I really hate? Light bulbs. No, seriously, I just replaced 4 of them- and now I can think of at least 6 more that I know of that burned out. What am I doing wrong? Am I just making a mistake in having too many light bulbs? It seems like I'm spending waaaay too much money on new bulbs.

Have you tried those fancy shmancy extra-long life ones? You know. The ones that last like 5 years or something like that? I put one in Audrey's nightlight and so far so good--I mean, at least I haven't had to change it yet, and normally I'd have had to twice by now. :) I hate them too. Thanks for reminding me to change the one in our upstairs lamp . . .

Light bulbs are the bane of my grocery budget... And, if you're anything like me you like the "natural light" more expensive ones!

we have the same problem. it seems they all go out at once at our place. very frustrating...some of them go out just days after we replace them! I should try some of those energy saving ones that last forever....

You have to go with the more expensive ones that have the fluorescent spiral. They last forever and you can take them with you when you move. (Well, maybe not since you are going to sell your house..) Yeah, lightbulbs suck!
